Welcome to the website of our Kooikerhondje dog Lucky, real name Theo Lucky Psie Lobby.
Lucky has been part of our family since autumn 2023 and we all fell in love with him from the very first day. He is a dog with a balanced and friendly nature – a calm and cuddly companion who loves his family, but at the same time an active partner for any fun and an adventurer who does almost everything with us. Together we walk, run, ride bikes, go fishing, love nature walks, mountain hikes, camping and days spent by the water and on the water – whether on a canoe, fishing boat or paddleboard. Lucky often travels with us, both in the Czech Republic and abroad, and although we live in the village and spend most of our time in nature, he also copes with the busy city environment. And finally, he also copes with relaxing together on the couch with complete clarity 😊.
Lucky and I regularly attended obedience classes, where he did great. We also do agility recreationally – not for speed or performance, but for the pure joy of spending time together (and also because it’s just relaxing 😊).
Lucky is sociable and has a great relationship with both children and other people. He also gets along well with our cat, with whom he forms a harmonious duo. Since he was a puppy, he has had frequent contact with other dogs, whether on visits, walks or during training. He gets along well with dogs – he is usually cool and calm, although he sometimes needs to clarify things with some males. And we must not forget to add that he also has a big weakness for female dogs. 😉❤️
Lucky controls his hunting tendencies well. During walks, he walks freely in the fields and forests, where we often meet deer – the situation interests him, but he remains under control. At home in the garden, he is most irritated by birds, so he has proven himself to be a great guardian of the cherry trees against starlings. Even though he is a duck dog, he enthusiastically helps us chase the chickens when they run away in our garden. What he doesn’t like very much are foreign cats that venture onto our property.
We are very happy that Lucky has successfully fulfilled all the conditions for breeding 🎉 We would be very happy if his balanced nature, joy of life and beautiful temperament could be passed on to the next generation.
